Got a CNC mill? Posted Friday, May 19, 2006 by Mr.7/11
The last bit the Katana's front end needs is a brace between it's spindly legs so it won't take a sharp left as that six-pot calipers bites hard into the 320mm disc.
I could resort to the garage and start punishing myself with a riffle file, but maybe one of you boys 'n' girl got a CNC mill at work or school that would like to take a spin around this downloadable 2D contour in .DXF format (right-click link and Save As...).
Ofcourse engraving of company logos is allowed ;-)

Katana.project front wheel and brake finished. Posted Wednesday, May 17, 2006 by Mr.7/11
Yesterday I picked up the Katana's front end from BikePenR where Tinie just finished the last details. It's great to see a joined efford by Simon and Rich @ FHMoto, Mark @ Manic Motorcycles, Tinie @ BikePenR , Steve @ Sprintek and Fred @ Postmamotoren turn out into something as great looking as this without a single error! Must be down to my own group management skills I suppose ;-)

Bike of the Month - May 2006 Posted Monday, May 1, 2006 by Mr.7/11
When people ask me to select their bike to be Bike of the Month I usually don't even bother to answer, but this time there was no way around it. I don't think there's a better example of the term "OldSkool Suzuki" than this bike, and shows you how to improve the handling and looks of a dinosaur using modern running-gear while retaining the classic looks. If only Wes Cooley could have had the suspension and tyre technology...
...those races wouldn't have been that exciting to watch ;-)
