Seat unit raised

After we shortened the subframe I had to make some kind of support for the seat unit to rest on.
There was quite a lot of height to bridge so I made a small secondary subframe out of aluminum u-profile.
I allmost make the mistake to position the subframe too close to the tank, making it impossible to remove the tank.
Luckily I discovered this in time to prevent some serious trouble.
I was told the welding gave fair a bit of trouble because of the difference in aluminum composition between the frame and the u-profiles.

Bet you can't see the subframe is held together with cellotape here?...

...that's because cellotape is transparent.

Don't worry... here it's properly welded into space.
