the G-Man's 1340M in a N frame Terry
wrote; "Thank
you for your web site. It gave me a lot of info for my project. I'm building
a monster 1340cc Gixer in my 92 750 frame. I
have a 91 1100 bottom end, 89 forked rocker 1100 top end, ported and polished
with oversized valves (31mm intake and 27mm exhaust) 130+ cfm head feeding the
1340cc APE gorilla block. The motor has Carrillo rods and a falicon race balanced
and lightened crank. I'm using the Dyna 2000 programmable ignition with dyna
coils and 8mm graphite plug wires. I'm also developing a ram-air system on
it feeding 38mm RS Flatslide carbs with 70mm velocity stacks. It will be filtered
from the front of the bike with K&N box filters. it is 11.6 to 1 compression
so I can run super-unleaded in it. I
have also started the bike on a significant weight loss program (Jenny Craig...Ha
Ha..)by removing anything thats not needed. I installed PM wheels Kevlar brake
lines airtech body etc. Anyway,
it wont be until spring when I can Dyno the bike. I need it around 70 degrees
F to jet it properly but I will send pictures of the project as it progresses. APE
guesses between 190RWHP to 230RWHP on pump gas. All naturally aspirated.....for
now. I have a turbo kit here as well but I must first try to ride this insane
thing first... more
will come later.... Thanks
again for your sites help......... Terry
