PerversePolisher's GSX-R 1000 k2

Having started to strip the bike this is my shopping list (watch out Ebay - I'm comin' to getcha!!!

Rear Wheel
Subframe
Battery Tray
Undertray
Screen
Screen/top-fairing brace
RG Racing replacement crash mushrooms
Fork top
l/h Footpeg/hanger/gear-lever
Bar-end

Fortunately I was already planning on doing some modifications to the bike and I already had a number of important parts:
Top fairing (actually 2 - 1 from Pyramid Plastics and 1 from e-bay)
Side panels
Tail-piece
Seat-cowl

The reason I had a complete spare set of bodywork is because I intended to get the whole lot air-brushed and still keep the bike on the road in the meantime. Obviously that isn't going to happen now.

I'd also purchased a standard swingarm on e-bay (for £20 - another mis-spelt item) which I have the intention of extending by 6.5" to bring the wheelbase up to a maximum of 62" suitable for drag-racing.

I'm considering some different dog-bones, or an air-shock so I can raise and lower the rear of the bike at the flick of a switch. Also some way of lowering the front of the bike, other than simply dropping the yokes - tie-downs look like the best way, but they do look ugly. More investigation needed on this!

Just purchased, as it was when I bought it.

After the mother of all wheelies! Bent subframe, footpeg, hanger, wheel, etc.

Although the top fairing, screen, fork-top and bottom-yoke all suffered!

Crash bungs did their job though - not a mark on the front fairing!!
