Suzuki GSXR 1000 Z K4 Limited Edition

Dyno Runs

To be honest ,It was a better result than I was expecting , the Dyno I used is not known for reading high ( quite the opposite if you ask some folk ! ) ., so I questioned the dyno operator.

He admitted it was one of the 'healthiest' ones he'd seen , and showed me some overlays on several other K4's & K3's he'd dyno'd . In two cases , bikes with full Ackropovic systems , PC3's and K&N's etc , gave virtually exactly the same curve as mine , but a little lower down ( about minus1hp all through the range ) , and one was the same but plus 2hp at the top .

He did ask how I'd broke the bike in - I admitted I'd used the motoman method , ride normal for 20 miles, changed oil & filter , then rode it like I'd stole it . He suspected as much , and said it showed in my results......
